The Chinese Lion Dance Assoc will be performing in front from Verizon Wireless from 11:30 am. There will be a lion dance, dragon dance and sword demo. The Wah Yun Culture and Arts Academy dba Chinese Lion Dance Association was formed in 1988 by a brotherhood of practitioners of Chinese Gung Fu and Lion Dance. It has grown to be one of the foremost gung fu and lion dance schools in Hawaii. They participate annually in community events centered around various Chinese festivals, such as Chinese New Year, Moon Festival, Double Ten Festival, and Ching Ming.
